Laurens Limousine Offers Young Adults New Ideas

I remember those years between 14 and 20, to old for Chucky Cheese and to young to hit the town clubbing. Some of my friends had the coveted fake ID that worked once or twice until an astute bouncer recognized the 6 inch difference in height, and then exiled the accused. If you live in or around the Chicago area and looking for a first-rate night out for your teenager give Laurens Limousine a call, and reserve a stretch limousine to keep your young adults safe and under the care and supervision of a professional chauffeur.

Clubs for children ages 14 through 17 offer different venues then the over 17 crowd. We can also help plan a perfect evening for a birthday or any event or milestone. Let us help you plan the perfect Birthday party for your young teenager. Call us today and we can arrange a wide variety of activities depending on your budget, area, and type of events.

Common sense Business Tips (I like this one)

Filed under: Uncategorized — eagleyejohn @ 3:47 pm

Having been in the O’Hare / Midway transportation and limousine business in one capacity or another for over ten years I have learned through trial and error, what makes a company in transportation stand out.

  1. The first thing is to always remember the client is the most important aspect when thinking about good service. I have seen so many companies hire less than desirable chauffeurs and that is the one of the first impressions the client sees.
  2. The first impression is that initial communication when the new client calls looking for direction. I always walk them through the procedures of how pick ups and drop offs work. Since I am based out of the greater Chicago area, most clients new to O’Hare and Midway airports are intimidated with terminals and exit strategies. I try to inform them how easy it is, from departing the plane to calling me as soon as they have acquired their luggage. I make it seamless for my clients and make sure they are comfortable in our immense airports. I pride myself with the fact we can get to the client within 3-5 minutes of their calling my office.
  3. Professional vehicle: Provide immaculate vehicles and professional looking chauffeurs. We keep current newspapers and magazines in each vehicle as well as bottled water. When the pick up is from the clients home or business I require my chauffeurs to be on site 15 min before the scheduled time. I have found that clients feel rushed if it’s any earlier. They also get very angry… understandably if it’s even a minute later then the scheduled time. So timing is of great importance in this business. The client will come to depend on that fact. We also believe in “old school”, we open doors, carry luggage and open dialog only when appropriate.
  4. Always be aware of each states law regarding how a driver is to be paid. It can either be a percentage of the reservation or an all inclusive price. Owner operators will pay their own fuel if they are free lancing. A limousine company that owns their own vehicles will pay for fuel and maintenance. Tolls and airport stamps will depend on which city you are driving in. Most of those expenses if incurred are covered by the company as well.
  5. You always need to have company policy for “cancelations” and “no shows”. If a cancelation is anything other than mother nature, a percentage of the base rate will be billed. The charters have different criteria, within 72 hours there is normally no charge, after that another percentage should be billed depending on the circumstances. For example if that vehicle turned down several other reservations then almost the full amount should be billed. Holidays are another time that full charge should be considered.
  6. Lastly the client should be treated with the utmost care and should always feel that they are being pampered. This is what separates a limousine from a taxi.

Paulette Matusiak is the owner of Laurens Limousine and has provided high profile clients with world class service for over a decade. Currently focusing on corporate cliental, is planning on branching out and franchising the system she created.                                                       www.laurenslimousine.net

Love the Belcher Button! What is it about marketers who get busted and come back stronger? Frank Kern has a simular story and is kicking butt! Hope this doesnt mean I have to get a visit from the FBI to hit the mark.

Remember in Top Gun, where Maverick flies upside-down to flip the bird at a rival pilot? Well, someone actually did that, and it was this guy. And in a real-life move that smacks of Hollywood, NASA has tapped this hot shot pilot (now retired, actually) to command space shuttle Atlantis during its voyage to repair the ailing Hubble.

The Secret…
